Can I put environment variables in the Message Text?

Yes! We support displaying environment variables within the body of the message, by simply referencing the environment variable with % around it.

For example, if you wanted to display the users Last Login information. You would simply create a LAST_LOGIN environment variable, prior to launching loadmsg.exe. Then inside of your message text you would add in %LAST_LOGIN%. When the message displays to the user, it will resolve the environment variable to whatever value that is contained within LAST_LOGIN.

Note: if you try and use the "preview" option in the Edit Message window, the LAST_LOGIN environment variable must be created prior to launching the message editor application.
